In pre-Islamic Arabia, a poet stepped onto the mawqif and recited a qasida before the tribe. A public act of thought that demands form and courage. You cannot simply post what you think — you have to formulate.
The format — strict and unchanging
- — One thesis or one question. Up to 480 characters.
- — No emoji reactions. Only a written reply, or silence.
- — To publish, you must be at least a Citizen (rung III). Wanderers and Apprentices read.
- — Each mawqif has a 48-hour window. Replies are timely or silent.
