What Stoa is
Stoa is a free, ad-supported reading and learning platform. We publish long-form articles, structured courses, podcasts, and AI practices. You can read everything without an account; you only need an account for AI practices, progress, and tokens.
Your account
You may create one account per person. Don't share your credentials. We can suspend an account that abuses the AI tools, scrapes the site, or violates the spirit of these terms.
Tokens and the Citizen plan
Tokens are non-refundable digital credits used for AI features. They do not expire. The Citizen plan is an annual subscription with unlimited AI use; cancel any time and the rest of the year stays usable.
Content
Articles, courses, illustrations, and podcasts are © Stoa unless attributed. You can quote with credit and link freely. Republishing whole articles requires written permission.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party trackers. We do not email you anything you did not ask for.
Liability
Stoa is provided as-is. We are an educational publication, not legal, financial, or medical advice. Use the material to think; verify the rest.
Changes
If we change anything material here, we will say so on the homepage and email registered users one week before it takes effect.
